Last week we talked about acrostic poems where you take a word and have each letter be the first letter of a line of poetry. This week the challenge to is make an acrostic with the word PANDEMIC. If you missed last meeting or want to review acrostics, check out the acrostics page under Written ActiviTeas.
We can't wait to see what you come up with! Post your poem below.
Plans plans plans
All of our very best plans
Never came and never went
Delayed only for a bit
Everybody assures, though
Maybe-just maybe- we’ll find
I can mourn their loss but still
Come back with a running start
Purposeless I drift
Around the empty house.
Never hearing a laugh
Drive away the darkness.
Everyone feels far away and
Moments on zoom can't compensate.
Inside four walls I realize the
Countless blessings of having someone there.
