At this week's meeting we explored playwriting and screenplays using a series of three different activities. I encourage you all to look through the attached Powerpoint as you work through these, as it will give you a much better idea of how to go about this. In summary, first, we created two characters. Second, we created dialogue between the two characters. Then, using the example provided and labeled on slide 5, we transferred this scene of dialogue into the correct format of a screenplay. The rigid structure of a screenplay can be challenging for some, but I hope anyone who wasn't able to make it to the meeting is willing to give it a shot!!
